VIPPASANA MEDITATION
DAY: NOVEMBER 2 (Saturday)
Arrival Time: 08.30 am.
End time: 18.30 pm.
Punctuality is important so as not to miss the introduction of the technique. It is forbidden to speak after this presentation. See rules below.
VIPASSANA TECHNIQUE: means seeing things as they are. And it is estimated that it is one of the oldest meditation techniques in India, where it was taught about 2500 years ago as an art.
For those who are not familiar with Vipassana Meditation, there is an introduction video by Mr. Goenka, the forerunner of this powerful millenary technique.
WHAT WE WILL LEARN IN THIS WORKSHOP
You will acquire the Vipassana Meditation technique as the basis, the fundamental pillar, so that participants learn the method and practice enough to experience beneficial results. It is suitable for experienced people as it is always an opportunity to sit and meditate.
RULES
- This retreat is 100×100 in silence.
- There will be no guidelines or moments to talk.
- Forbidden to start conversations at breaks.
- It is forbidden to sit next to other people to avoid contact.
- Avoid 100×100 eye contact and facial gestures such as smiling or pleasing in some way.
- Tasks such as cleaning after lunch will be done in complete silence respecting the queue
- Never try to serve others or help others.
If you had any difficulties, you can only go to the guide of the meditations.
FOODS
Vegan. Please bring to share some prepared meals or food easy to prepare to ensure that all of us spend the whole day meditating without interruptions. Thanks
WHAT BRING
A large blanket or scarf or pasmina or broad scarf to cover shoulders. Comfortable coat because the body temperature drops. Warm appropriate footwear. Socks. Meditation cushions (We do not provide) Insulation or blanket for the floor to meditate. It is placed under the cushion. Women: we appreciate long skirts and under warm joggers. Men: sports trousers.
WATER FOR CONSUMPTION
Bring a big water bottle for consumption and for preparing teas. Please help us to take the empty ones to the rubbish containers with you when you leave.
FOOD UTENSILS
Bring your plates, spoon, fork, knife and cup or glass. We do not provide. Thank you!
SMOKERS
There is a designated smoking area. Avoid consumption 100 × 100 if possible. Smokers should be responsible for emptying the ashtray at the end of the retreat using an exclusive cigarette butt bag and carrying it when leaving in their vehicle. We advise to bring an empty can to put the cigarettes
RECYCLING
Trash is recycled. Please respect the rules and place it where applicable.
CLEANING
At the end of the meals, the collection and cleaning of the kitchen and dining area is essential. Scrubbing your plate and utensils is mandatory in the manner indicated. Water shortage forces to restrict extreme use. Thank you. Please, at the end of this mini-retreat, please help us to carry the garbage bags in your car.

ACCOMMODATION
Bring your tent and camp in the assigned areas. We do not provide blankets. Bring your sleeping bag, or blanket and insulation. Coat. Lower the temperature in the evening.
Note:
It is not mandatory to sleep. It’s optional. If you choose to stay, bring the food you need to support yourself and personal needs.
This retreat is in full nature on Mount Los Hibrones next to our Casita and surrounded by pine trees. Spectacular !!!!
CLEANLINESS
Keep in mind that we use a dry bath. Follow the rules. Use the paper-bin. Leave it clean as it was.
